Red Mud Vase - Low
Description:
An exploration of larger scale ceramic vessels that work both as floor vases and atop furniture. The forms echo the archetypical forms of the alumina refineries that produce red mud.
Each piece is made in the studio by hand.
The red mud is sourced from the South of France, the birthplace of aluminium production (and of red mud), processed by hand, and cast using traditional ceramics methods.
